My name is Bilal Karim and I recently completed my three years of high school in Alberta, Canada. I have had an immense amount of interest in art since I was a little kid. I still remember drawing a bedroom design for parents at the age of eight. Several years down the road, I decided to move onto digital art. The world was advancing technologically day by day. I just wanted to be a part of it. I wanted to be part of the digital world. I was about twelve years old when I made my first digital art piece. Two years later, I got into photography as well and have been doing both constently for quite a long time now.

During my spare time, I like to work on art and photography (that's a given!), listen to music (R&B, Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop, Electronic), and play video-games (Halo 2, Gears of War and Sonic the Hedgehog). I like to watch sports such as soccer (Representing Italia) and ice hockey whenever I get a chance. I occasionally go to ride my bike during summer but since my last embarrasing crash at the park, I have been trying to stay away from it. My tools of trade are Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe Illustrator CS2, Adobe InDesigns CS2, Canon Digital Rebel XTi, Macromedia Flash MX, Wacom Graphire 4 and Xara3D6.

I am currently planning to major in Earth Science at the Universtiy of Calgary starting this fall. I don’t know if I’m going to be able to pursue my career in this field yet, but I do know for sure that art is something that I will never leave.
